We might not be the only one. We are the biggest, best and most established.

The longest-running, largest small-sided football league operator in the UK and the brand all our competitors look up to and follow. Built by grassroots managers in 1991, still owned by people who play.

Our origin

We didn't just join the game.
We started it.

In the late 1980s, a group of sport facility managers in the Midlands ran the UK's first multi-division 5-a-side leagues out of sports halls. In 1991, they formalised the operation under one name — Leisure Leagues — and 5-a-side football was never the same.

Three and a half decades later we operate over 1,000 leagues across 40+ countries — but the ethos hasn't changed. Fair, fun, fiercely competitive football for anyone who wants to play.
